Gilbert & Goode, Mount Stamper, Scredda, St Austell -  34 new dwellings

Fred Champion Groundworks are currently undertaking the groundworks to a new housing scheme of 34 houses at Scredda on the outskirts of St Austell in mid Cornwall on behalf of Gilbert & Goode. The works commenced in December 2016.

This scheme  is a brownfield type site and involved difficult groundworks excavations and installations around existing live main services. The site wide groundworks works consist of the installation of  adopted roads and drainage, including a 2.40m diameter concrete attenuation tank under the road with associated membrane wrapped plastic crate type ancillary attenuation tank, main service infrastructure works and all associated plot groundworks.
